CPO Documents Graiguenamnagh Tinnahinch Flood Relief Scheme

 

Kilkenny County Council have submitted a Planning application (under Section 177Ae of the Planning and Development Act) and a Compulsory Purchase Order, under the Housing Act, to An Coimisiun Pleanala. This relates to the proposal to develop a flood relief scheme for Graiguenamanagh and Tinnahinch.

The scheme is funded by the Office of Public Works (OPW). The objective of this project is to design and construct of a Flood Relief Scheme, that is technically, socially, environmentally and economically acceptable, to alleviate the risk of flooding to the Communities of Graiguenamanagh and Tinnahinch.

Submissions cannot be made through this portal.

All queries/submissions relating to both applications can only be made to An Coimisiun Pleanala between the 22nd December and 5.30pm on the 11th February 2026.
