DRÉACHTSCÉIM GAEILGE  COMHAIRLE CONTAE CHILL CHAINNIGH

Tá Scéim Gaeilge á hullmhú ag Comhairle Contae Chill Chainnigh faoi réir Alt 11 d’Acht na dTeangacha Oifigiúla 2003. Tá molta go mbeidh an Scéim seo i bhfeidhm ar feadh tréimhse trí bliana go dtí 2025.

Is í príomhsprioc Acht na dTeangacha Oifigiúla ná a chinntiú go bhfuil rochtain níos fearr ar sheirbhísí poiblí i nGaeilge agus go bhfuil caighdeán níos airde orthu. Táthar ag súil go mbeidh an Scéim úr ag tógáil ar an dul chun cinn a rinne Comhairle Contae Chill Chainnigh ón gcéad Scéim Teanga maidir le seachadadh seirbhísí trí Ghaeilge.
