NOTICE OF PROPOSED DEVELOPMENT BY A LOCAL AUTHORITY
Under Section 179 of the Planning and Development Acts 2000 as amended Part 8 of the Planning and Development Regulations 2001 as amended
Location: Loughboy Park, Loughboy, Kilkenny.
In accordance with Part 8, Article 81 of the above Regulations, Kilkenny County Council hereby gives notice of its intention to carry out the following works at Loughboy Park, Loughboy, Kilkenny
The construction of five No. single storey age friendly and accessible dwellings which will include 3no. 2-bedroom age friendly bungalows and 2no. 3-bedroom accessible bungalows, new access road and vehicular parking, a type 1 pumping station and all associated site works.
The latest date for receipt of comments on the above scheme is 5pm on Friday 6th March 2026. Submissions should be clearly marked “Loughboy Park - Part 8 Planning Submission”
PUBLIC CONSULTATION DAY
As part of the consultation process, a public information/drop-in day has been arranged in the St Patrick’s Parish Centre, Loughboy, Kilkenny R95 RF97, on Wednesday 18th February between 4pm and 7pm.
This will allow members of the public to view the proposed plans and particulars and give the opportunity to discuss the proposed scheme with staff from Kilkenny County Council’s Housing Department.
