Castlecomer Local Area Plan Review - Pre-draft stage - Reminder closing date for submissions is Friday 18th November 2016
Kilkenny County Council intends to review the current Castlecomer Local Area Plan and prepare a new Plan for Castlecomer. This Plan will outline policies and objectives for the proper planning and sustainable development of the area for the period 2017 to 2023.
To assist in the preparation of this Local Area Plan, a public consultation meeting will be held in the Community Hall, Kilkenny Street, Castlecomer on Wednesday 2nd of November, 2016 at 7.30p.m.
Residents and all interested parties are encouraged to take part in this consultation process which will be an important first step in the making of the new Plan.
In addition to this public consultation meeting you can make a submission or observation regarding the review of the Castlecomer Local Area Plan, in writing, to the Director of Services, Planning, County Hall, John Street, Kilkenny from 19th October 2016 until 5 pm on Friday 18th November 2016 or you can make submissions by email to firstname.lastname@example.org or through this consult website.
Please note all submissions will be made available for public viewing on our website.
All written and email submissions/observations received on or before the 18th November 2016 will be considered by the County Council prior to the making of the draft Local Area Plan.
