We the residents of Mill Lane, Mill Road and locality would like to ask Kilkenny County Council to adjust the speed limits in the area under the grounds of Health and Safety.

This short stretch of road is used frequently by:

  • Elderly walkers
  • Wheelchair users
  • Families’ (walkers, children cyclists and strollers)
  • Runners and Cyclists’

The road is particularly hazardous on dark, wet, winter mornings and we have already had cases of ‘near misses’ in the past year.

Speed too fast coming into the village from the Thomastown direction
