We the residents of Mill Lane, Mill Road and locality would like to ask Kilkenny County Council to iadjust the speed limits in the area under the grounds of Health and Safety.

This short stretch of road  is used frequently by:

  • Children for access to local primary school,
  • Elderly walkers
  • Wheelchair users
  • Families’ (walkers, children cyclists and strollers)
  • Runners and Cyclists’

The road is particularly hazardous on dark, wet, winter mornings and we have already had cases of ‘near misses’ in the past year.
