We the residents of Garrandarragh, Mullinavat and locality would like to ask Kilkenny County Council to adjust the speed limits in the area under the grounds of Health and Safety.

This stretch of road is used frequently by:

Families’ (walkers, children, cyclists and strollers)

Runners and Cyclists’

The road is particularly hazardous on dark, wet, winter mornings 

Main opinion: 

Speed too fast coming towards the M9 Motorway on the R704

Main requests: 

Extend existing 50KM/H on the R-704 and introduce a new 60KM/H speed limit

Main reasons: 

Health and Safety.
