Mount Juliet

As a current house owner in Mount Juliet, I want to raise my objection to the proposed variation to the Development Standards for Mount Juliet.
 
When I purchased my property in Mount Juliet I was given assurances that certain standards would be maintained and the planning laws were highlighted as the main means of protecting my investment and the ambience and special and unique nature of the development. I invested a considerable amount of money and my current property is worth less than 50% of what I paid for it.
 
Any further development in the first instance will have a negative effect on property prices and degrade the ambience and special nature of Mount Juliet.
 
Therefore I strongly object to the proposed changes.
