Altamount- Lands at the rear of Altamount Park in Leggettsrath West are zoned Existing Residential 7 in Council ownership. These lands are currently undeveloped and have an unauthorised use of an allotment measuring in excess of the 1000sqm permitted under exempted development. It is not credible for the council to claim land is in short supply while using zoned land for unauthorised allotments. These lands are appear to have been deliberately omitted from the Draft Map despite being zoned Existing Residential. The potential exists to deliver a useful number of new units on this land in a mature location.
