This discussion paper is to start the process of developing a Biodiversity Action Plan for County Kilkenny. The aim of the Kilkenny Biodiversity Action Plan is to record, conserve and restore biodiversity within a local, regional and national context.
Before the process begins, Kilkenny County Council would like to start a discussion and hear your views on nature, listen to your ideas on how we should be addressing biodiversity loss and what actions you think are needed to record, conserve and restore biodiversity. This is an opportunity to give your views, as an individual, from a business perspective or from the perspective of an agency or group that works to conserve and protect the natural elements of the environment that in turn will protect biodiversity.
