I object to variation no 8 as while I support the development of housing in the city centre I do not support housing in Area 1. The houses would be sandwiched between two busy roads, CAS and Greensbridge. I particularly have a problem with housing fronting onto CAS. While I understand that this may look the road look more like a street than a motorway, from the point of view of the person living in the house I don't think it would be a pleasant place to live. I would urge councillors, members of the executive and consultants to think about whether they would like to live in this area.
