I would like to compliment you on the progression of a local area plan for Thomastown.
I would like to make the following submission;
It relates to a field in my ownership which is known locally as the Filbars, and is marked A on the attached map.
I note the intention is to designate it green/open space.
It should be noted that this field is within the Flood Plain and has been identified within CFRAM report as a crucial area for the placement of Hard Defences in the Flood Risk Management Plan. This would require substantial development in this field to ease the Flood Risk for the Town and the Community. I would support this process.
I object to this field being Zoned Green/Open Space.
This field is used for Agricultural purposes and I propose this field be subject to Land Use Zoning Objectives and ZONED AGRICULTURE
