Safety on Road from Luffany Roundabout to Glenmore Roundabout

We are living on the main Newross to Waterford Road. We have grave concerns regarding the safety of this road. There appears to be no progress on the proposed new Waterford to Glenmore Dual Carriageway. It is our opinion that if the speed limit was reduced from 100 to 80 km per hour this would make the road safer. There are a number of various junctions and different dwellings with direct access to this section of road and in certain parts the road is quite narrow for an National Primary Road.
