Further Workshop and Consultation to Review Entire Plan
Thank you for the Draft Masterplan with regard to Paulstown.
I believe that it would be beneficial for a further workshop / consultation with the relevant stakeholders, prior to this plan moving forward to the next phase.
From reading the 3 submissions to date I fully agree with the comments with regard to parking in and around the school and this matter should be given priority. Furthermore as the local GAA / Development Lands and the adjacent school are perhaps the busiest hubs in the village and it would be useful if the plan linked these two locations in terms of safe pedestrian / vehicular access / traffic calming, and amenities, from all sides of the village.
While the notion to attract further business to the village is positive, I wonder if this would be realistic. That said a business hub could be very beneficial given the number of people who use Apple green to work online on a regular basis.
There is a lot to digest and consider in this plan and I think that a phased programme would have been very useful for stakeholders to consider, hence a further workshop would be very useful.
