NOTICE OF PROPOSED DEVELOPMENT BY A LOCAL AUTHORITY
In accordance with the provisions of Part XI of the Planning & Development Act 2000, as amended, and Part 8, Article 81, of Planning and Development Regulations 2001, as amended, Kilkenny County Council gives notice of its intention to
Reconfigure the 2nd Floor Apartment at 34 The Green, Ayrfield, Granges Rd Kilkenny City R95 X023
* What this means is that the existing 2nd Floor 3 bed penthouse Apartment is proposed to be subdivided into 2 no apartments - 1 x 1 bed & 1 x 2 bed - resulting in 8 no. apartments within the building, instead of the current 7 apartments.
There are no proposed changes to the exterior of the building or the car park or the green space to the rear. The First Floor apartments will remain as is. It is intended to carry out minor adaptation works to the Ground Floor apartments to allow occupancy by mobility impaired tenants or wheelchair users.
Plans and particulars of the proposed development will be available for inspection or purchase for a fee not exceeding the reasonable cost of making a copy during office hours from Friday 02nd October 2020 until Friday 30th October inclusive, at at Planning Dept., Kilkenny County Council, County Hall, John St., Kilkenny City from 9am to 1pm & 2pm to 4pm Monday to Friday (excluding weekends and Bank Holidays) byappointment only. The latest time and date for receipt of submissions on the development is 5.00pm on Friday 13th November 2020.
