In relation to the joint local area plan for Graignamanagh/Tinnahinch I would like to make a submission in relation to lands on the South West of Brandondale house, these lands are currently designated suitable for residential development of low density. The revised plan changes this to an agricultural use for these lands, this would have a detrimental impact on the future development of Brandondale house and the current on going development taking place their.
Encouraging tourists to stay overnight is essential to the growth of Graignamanagh and Brandondale house currently under renovation with a view to providing this vital accommodation should be supported in every way possible. These lands should remain suitable for residential development.
